Hi, I am Stan, a design leader based in SF with extensive experience building B2B SAAS platforms that scale with growth. I thrive in pushing through early stage ambiguity, challenging established design patterns, and crafting delightful interfaces with timeless design.
Currently at
AngelList as a senior staff product designer. I define and drive the multi-year product and design strategy to shape it’s next generation private equity investment platform and VC fund administration tools. To establish a clean and delightful design language I do research, concepts generation, prototyping and interaction choreography. Own and and evolve our ADAPT design system so the team has all the tools to build efficiently and accurately. I frequently pitch new ideas and concepts to executuive leadership and evangelise user-first mentality. I amplify the entire organisation impact through systems thinking, creative direction and design influence. I hire and mentor talent, and drive blue-sky explorations since progress isn’t achieved by merely refining past solutions – it requires envisioning something entirely new and challenging priors.
Previously at
Rippling, I’ve built a design system that streamlines delivery process and enhances engineering efficiency by 34%. I drove global adoption of the design system, providing comprehensive documentation, guidelines and support across dozens of teams. At later stages of my tenure, I focused on developing larger building blocks that enhance key experiences across all Rippling products. Ultimately this work has generated more than $51 million USD in net value for Rippling. Check out
the case study to learn how I’ve made it.
Before that as founding designer at
Tinvio, a Singapore-based startup, I've built the company's design strategy and user experience from 0 to 1. Over 2 years, I led all design initiatives, established a distinct design language and intuitive UX tailored to perpetually busy audience of SMB owners in APAC. I embedded design thinking and meticulous attention to detail within the organization, cultivating design as a culture across cross-functional teams. This work resulted in a bold brand identity, messaging and a satisfying experience spanning marketing, mobile apps, and a multi-role web platform — a timeless design foundation that remains in use up until today. Since then Tinvio has grown their customer base to over 5,000 businesses in 10+ cities across APAC, and have raised $18 million USD from Sequoia Capital and Mitsubishi UFJ.
